Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
Urban Counsellor provides online counselling for workplace burnout and work stress. We take your privacy seriously, especially because counselling involves sensitive personal matters. This page explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
- Enquiry details: when you fill in our form, we collect your name, phone number, email, preferred time, city and any message you choose to share.
- Contact details: if you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the contact information you share.
- Session information: notes from counselling sessions are kept confidential between you and your counsellor.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry — we aim to respond within 1 hour.
- To schedule, reschedule and remind you about sessions.
- To provide counselling and keep appropriate records.
What we never do
- We never contact your employer unless you explicitly ask us to.
- We never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We never publish client stories or details without written consent.
- We never put your personal data in links or web addresses.
Confidentiality and its limits
Everything you share in counselling is confidential. The only exception is safety: if there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, your counsellor may need to involve emergency support. If you are in crisis, contact Tele-MANAS at 14416 (free, 24/7).
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email care@urbancounsellor.com and we will act on it promptly.
